Cross-Platform Mobile App for a Luxury Home Buyer's Network

Overview

Developed an iOS and Android app for a network connecting high-net-worth buyers with off-market luxury listings before they hit public sites. The app supports curated listing feeds per buyer profile, in-app messaging with agents, and secure document sharing for offers and disclosures. Push notifications alert buyers the moment a matching property becomes available, which was the client's core value proposition but previously ran through manual email blasts. We built it cross-platform from a single codebase to keep the client's ongoing maintenance costs manageable as the buyer network grows. The buyer network's core value — surfacing off-market luxury listings before they went public — was undercut by a manual email-blast process that was slow and impossible to personalize per buyer. We built a single cross-platform iOS and Android app with curated per-buyer listing feeds, in-app agent messaging, and secure document sharing, so a new listing could reach the right buyers the moment it became available. Discovery focused on mapping the founder's existing manual matching process into rules the app could apply automatically. We built the buyer-facing app and agent-side listing tools in parallel, tested the notification and matching logic against historical listing data, then rolled the app out to a pilot group of buyers before opening it to the full network. New off-market listings now reach matched buyers within minutes of being added instead of days later through an email blast, giving the network a faster, more personal buying experience that matches its premium positioning.
