Built an event and group booking management portal for a conference hotel that handles a steady stream of corporate meeting and group room-block inquiries alongside its regular leisure bookings. Meeting planners can check room-block availability, request event space, and submit catering preferences through the portal instead of a lengthy email exchange with the sales team. The portal automatically calculates group rate holds against the hotel's inventory and flags conflicts with existing reservations before a sales manager confirms anything, reducing costly double-booked space. This gave the sales team a single system of record for group business that had previously lived across email threads and a shared spreadsheet.
