Branded Mobile App for a Leadership Coaching Consultancy

Overview

Built an iOS and Android app for a leadership coaching consultancy so clients could access session recordings, between-session exercises, and progress notes from their phone instead of a shared document. Coaches can push new exercises and resources directly to individual clients or entire cohorts, and clients can log reflections that sync automatically for the coach to review before the next session. This gave the consultancy a differentiated, premium-feeling client experience that supported the higher price point of its executive coaching packages. Push notifications remind clients of upcoming sessions and encourage them to complete exercises before their next call. Clients of a leadership coaching consultancy accessed session recordings, exercises, and progress notes through a shared document, which felt inconsistent with the premium positioning of its executive coaching packages. We built an iOS and Android app where coaches push exercises and resources to individual clients or cohorts, and clients log reflections that sync automatically for the coach to review before the next session. We interviewed a handful of the consultancy's existing clients about what they wished the shared-document experience did better before designing the app's core flows. It launched with a pilot cohort before rolling out to the full client base. The consultancy now offers a branded, premium client experience that supports its move upmarket into higher-priced executive coaching packages, with coaches walking into sessions already informed by client reflections.
